Is your dog looking forward to St. Paddy’s Day just as much as you are? Whether you’re marching in a parade or just going for your usual walk, it’s great when you can add a touch of green for your favorite canine.
Bandanas and collars in emerald green and decorated with shamrocks are just a couple of the ways you can help your canine participate in the festivities. They’ll love the admiring attention they get from everyone who sees how cute they look in their new gear!
KZHAREEN 2 Pack St. Patrick’s Day Dog Bandanas
Bandanas are so simple and so easy to get on and off your dog. But they still add so much appeal!
This pack of two dog bandanas comes in two sizes (link defaults to larger size, but there’s a button there for small). So any sized dog can take advantage!
One bandana features shamrocks with a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. The other shows four-leafed clovers with mugs of green beer. Both definitely evoke the spirit of the day!
The large version measures 32″, so it’s great for mid-sized to large dogs. The smaller option is 23.6″, good for smaller breeds and even for cats. Each order contains two of the same size.
Coomoor St. Patrick Hoodie for Dogs
When you want to get your pooch even more dressed than just a bandana, you might like to stuff them into a great hoodie. The wonderful emerald green outfit has “Lucky Charm” printed on the back!
It’s available in a variety of sizes, although they’re all for very small dogs (or for cats). A small, for instance, is for a 2-4 pound dog and an XL is for 14-17 pounds. That’s tiny. But if you have a small breed, it’ll work for you. But for larger breeds, it doesn’t seem they offer anything appropriate. Look for more info on sizes in the “Product Description” section at the link (about halfway down the page).
But if you do have a tiny dog, it’ll be great to dress them up in this great piece. It will definitely make them stand out for the holiday! And there’s several other holiday themes available, too – be sure to check out the options!
St. Patrick’s Day Hat with Beard
Of course, if you really want the leprechaun look for your dog, a hat and beard are practically necessary! Whether you use them alone or in combination with some of other items here, your pooch will definitely look the part.
These obviously aren’t designed to last for a lot of years, but they can add some cuteness for a year or two. The hat is made of cloth; the orange buckle is paper. The beard fuzz is attached to cloth.
There’s nothing inside the hat, so to make it stand up a bit better, you might want to stuff some tissue or other paper inside.
It fits smaller breeds fine. It’s definitely cute and will attract attention!
Native Pup St. Patrick’s Day Dog Collar
A decorative collar is great for any dog and is likely easier to get on them than any of the other items here. Native Pup offers a whole series just for St Patrick’s Day or for Irish heritage.
In addition to the one pictured, there are a number of others. They feature shamrocks or beer mugs in a variety of patterns and colors.
There are three sizes ranging from 11 inches to 26 inches. The small is about 5/8″ wide and the large is an inch wide.
Plastic is used for adjustment bands, but a metal D ring is for the leash, making it more secure. The collar itself is made of a tough polyester.
Lulubelles Power Plush St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Bone
Let’s face it: most dogs really don’t like getting dressed up, no matter what the occasion may be. So they deserve a new toy for putting up with what we do to them.
This bone toy is relatively durable and comes in two sizes. The small is 8.5 inches, and the large is 12 inches.
It has a mesh liner to help with durability. There’s also a squeaker to help keep your pup’s attention.
It’s a great reward that they’l love. And they won’t care if it’s March 17th or not!
Wrapping It Up
There’s no reason your favorite canines can’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day along with everyone else! While green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and shamrock shakes might not be on the menu, they can still dress up and enjoy other great parts of March 17!
