Valentine’s Gifts for your Dog

What could possible be a better Valentine than your dog? Sure, they may not remember flowers or chocolates, or even invite you to dinner. But they’re always thrilled to see you, they’re affectionate, and they love to curl up on the couch with you!

So it’s always nice to celebrate Valentine’s Day with them – whether or not you’re also celebrating with a human companion. Your dog will appreciate the extra attention. Ok, maybe they won’t – they might wonder why you’re putting them through this ordeal of getting dressed up again. But they’ll definitely look cute once it’s done! And we have some Valentine’s treats in here that will appear to them a bit more, too.

Ok, this is definitely the most frilly item on our list, and it will give an entirely new look to your pet!

This set includes a collar and a headband in traditional Valentine’s red.

The items are “one size fits all”, although of course the tiniest and largest of dogs might feel left out. But both pieces are adjustable and fit most canines.

It’s a decent quality and as long as your dog doesn’t decide to chew on it, it should hold up to two or three years of Valentine’s evening use.

Dog Bandanas – Set of 2

Bandanas are a bit easy to get on and off dogs, and most of them don’t mind these too much They really stand out for their cuteness and simplicity!

This pack of two really highlights the mood of Valentine’s Day. Both feature a red background. One has the word “Love” printed on it repeatedly. The other features hearts in various shades of pink.

The bandanas come in 3 sizes – small (for necks up to 12 inches), medium (necks up to 15 inches), and large (for necks up to 21 inches). These measurements do allow enough excess to knot the bandana; the actual width is several inches larger.

Milk-Bone is a long-time favorite when it comes to dog treats, and dogs will love these specially-colored treats for Valentine’s Day. Sure, the dog probably can’t see the nice pink and white colors. But we can pretend, right?

The treats are still shaped like tiny bones, so your dog may recognize them. It’s a nice way to mix things up and help make the day more festive!

This is a 36-ounce container. The treats are 5 calories each and are fortified with 12 vitamins and minerals.

The bandana is 24 inches wide, so it should fill dogs with necks up to 15 inches comfortably. The headband should fit heads from 4.8 to 6.5 inches.

to And we think they’ll love it as much as you! The cotton scarf is comfortable and holds up well. The headband is nice, too, although we suspect most dogs won’t enjoy having it on much longer than it takes to snap a photo for Instagram.
