There’s so many fantastic animals from “Down Under”! Of course, some of them are among the world’s most dangerous. But even some of the most powerful have a cuteness factor about them as well. And that’s definitely the case with the kangaroo.
Some species of these marsupials reach incredible size. And we all know they pack an incredible punch. At the same time, the whole idea of a marsupial carrying a baby in its pouch just speaks to us so much about the relationship between mother and joey. Kids especially seem to find great joy in seeing them.

GUND Jirra Kangaroo Stuffed Animal
Gund does a great job with almost everything, and this is no exception. This great entry in their mother-and baby series is cute and cuddly and will bring joy to anyone!
The mother kangaroo measures 10″ tall. The joey is in a pouch and measures 4.5″. The pouch is functional – that is, the joey can be removed.
This is made from a polyester blend and can be surface-washed.

Wild Republic Huggers Kangaroo Slap Bracelet
Just slap this cute little kangaroo against your wrist, and suddenly you’ve got a bracelet! These stuffed toys from Wild Republic are great to hang on slender wrists, or can hang on belt loops, backpack straps or anywhere else. For the older set, you could hang it off the arm of a desk lamp or the leg of a desk. They’ve been really popular for a while now. The arms are made with a metal or similar material inside to hold the “hug”.

These measure about 6 inches. This is a genuine TY product and has the heart and tush tags in place. Its birthday is January 28.
Aurora World Flopsie Toy Kangaroo
Aurora is another great maker of plush toys. This great, tall kangaroo is just waiting to hop into your collection!
It’s pretty realistic looking as stuffed toys go. But being realistic means it’s not “smiley”. It’s actual got a pretty firm face on – so don’t be surprised if it seems to be staring at you disapprovingly! But it does look like a real kangaroo would. Also, the limbs are sewn to the sides. It’s more of a display piece; it’s not soft, but not nearly as soft as other plush toys.
The kangaroo measures 12″ tall. The eyes are held on with lock-washers, which makes them pretty safe. The filling is double-bagged.
