Granted, spiders aren’t everyone’s first idea of a great addition to home decor. Unless you’re Morticia Addams, they probably wouldn’t even cross your mind. But for one month, at least, nearly everyone loves to add these eight-legged creepy crawlers to their home! Once October rolls around and Halloween draws near, they do fit in great both outdoors and indoors.
As you know, spiders are arachnids, not insects. And fear of spiders is arachnophobia. But we hope the great decorations we’ve picked here don’t creep you out!

Pack of 8 Rubber Spiders
Not all spiders have to be black, and this pack of 8 rubber spiders proves the point! Each of these is made of rubber and is about 5 inches across (including the legs). They make great toys or can easily be used as decorations on the table or mantle.
These actually have a decent amount of “stretchy-ness” to them, so they’ll hold up pretty well to ongoing use, even if carried around by a leg. Unlike ones we may remember from years ago, these don’t have a sticky, gummy surface. However, that might have been caused by high temperatures, and we didn’t test these for that.
Regardless, these definitely provide a creep factor that will be loved (or maybe shunned!) by all who see them!
Huge Spiderweb with Plastic Spiders
What’s a spider without his web? With this product, you get an enormous web along with 30 plastic spiders to place on it. It definitely adds to the scare factor!
We didn’t measure, but the maker says you can get 1000 square feet of web from this, yet it weighs just about 11 ounces. That’s a lot of space you can cover whether you use it indoors or out! Of course, that might make it spread a little too thin – you might find it looks better over a lesser amount of space. Still, it can handle a few rooms or trees quite well.
You can cut this up into sections and use it in different places. It’s so light that it’s easy to hang. And it’s so big that you probably won’t want to use it all in one place, unless you’re decorating a gym!
The spiders themselves are small, measuring maybe two inches across. But that’s more than enough! It makes our skin crawl just thinking about it.
The only disadvantages of these is that it does get dirty. Since it’s so fine, dirt or even bugs can get stuck to it. It’s definitely good for one season, but we’re not sure it will hold up for the next time around.
BIG Spiders in a 4 Pack!
While the spiders above might be small, these definitely make up for it! These 4 models include three different sizes. The smallest is about 6 inches across and the largest almost 2 feet (at the time we’re posting this, the post actually has larger signs, but we think they mistakenly used the ” symbol for inches when they meant to say cm).
They are made with a wire mesh frame and a foam body. It’s all covered in polyester fabric. The legs can be posed because of the wire frame.
When you want to really make an impact, these will do the trick. They just can’t be missed! You can stand them up easily, but they can also be hung with string, cup hooks, or small nails.
ADORE Hanging Black Widow
“Everyone” knows to be on the lookout for the red hourglass on a spider’s underside – it’s the sign of the black widow! This plush toy will cause quite a shock with its familiar marking whenever it drops in.
And yes – the black widow does have its hourglass on its underbelly. We had to double-check and found out that’s the correct placement, so this is a realistic toy!
The toy measures about 13 inches front to back. The body is 8 inches. From side to side on the legs, it’s almost 15 inches!. It has a loop on the back end to make it easy to hang, but it can also sit flat.
This is an amazing combo of cute and creepy! It’ll definitely make an impact on your decor.
This is great as part of any stuffed toy collection, or if you want to just pull it out for Halloween or maybe even April Fools’ Day!
