Certain salamander species exhibit parental care, guarding their eggs until they hatch. That’s a rare behavior among amphibians.

Salamanders are also famous for their extraordinary regenerative abilities. They can regenerate lost limbs, tails, and even parts of their hearts and eyes, a feature that has fascinated scientists for decades.
