The polar bear just seems like a natural when it comes to animals associated with Christmas. Since it appears white and is from a frigid climate, it just blends in well to our expectations of a cold and snowy 25th of December.
This big beast can seem soft and cuddly when it’s pictured in a decoration or wrapped in a scarf and dons a ski cap. We’ve come across many great ideas that incorporate ursa martimus into a festive fellower reveler!
Here’s a few of our suggestions – what’s your favorite?
Penguins and Polar Bear Inflatable Lawn Decoration
Let’s look at our biggest item first, as we celebrate this gigantic mammal!
This inflatable is sure to get noticed in your yard, since it measures a full 6 feet long! It’s also 65 inches tall to the top of the higher penguin’s hat. (and about 36″ wide). The box it comes in is about 10″ by 15″ – you might not ever be able to get it THAT tightly packed again, but when it’s time to store it, at least you know it won’t occupy a huge space.
The two penguins are apparently relying on their polar bear friend to provide a warm seat while they go ice fishing – each penguin holds a fishing rod on which is already hooked today’s dinner. The bear kindly stoops down to allow them to continue their activities.
This inflatable is self-inflating and lighted as well. It’s great for penguin lovers, polar bear lovers and just for general winter or Christmas use!
Eskimo Kisses Polar Bear Christmas Cards
It seems like Christmas cards are one of the few things that still keeps non-commercial postal mail a “thing”. And these beautiful cards will be warmly received by anyone, whether you mail them or hand deliver them.
The beautiful image of two polar bears rubbing noses is complimented by scrolled red edges and even a sprig of mistletoe hanging above the loving couple. It’s quite the picture and definitely charming!
Inside, the card reads “ Wishing you all the special moments this season can possibly hold! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year” in gold ink.
This is a pack of 15 cards and includes 16 white envelopes. The cards measure 5 5/8″ x 7 3/8″ and meet the US weight limit for a single first-class postage stamp.
Polar Bear Woodworking Pattern
We have to be clear first that this is a pattern for cutting these cute polar bears with a jigsaw. It’s not a finished product, and it’s not a cut. You’ll receive just the plans.
Having said that – this woodworking pattern is great and you’ll love investing the time and work to have your own handmade polar bears! The finished bears measure 36″ and 24″ tall. They’re incredibly cute!
The pattern is simple to follow. Even though it requires a jigsaw, it’s rated for beginners, so you don’t need a high level of skills to create it.
When you really love that homemade feel, this is a great way to go!
Family Matching Polar Bear Pajama PJ Sets
Matching pajamas for the whole family might not be something you can pull off with your kids every day, but Christmas is a good time to persuade them to give it a try. And these cute sets are just perfect!
“Mama Bear”, “Papa Bear” and two “Bear Cubs” can relax and sleep comfortably with these jersey knit sleepwear sets (includes polyester, cotton and spandex). They’re stretchy and soft.
The tops feature a single bear on the front, while the bottoms are covered with bears going every which way.
Each individual’s set is ordered separately (but from the same page on Amazon) so you can be sure to pick the right sizes.
Eveyrone in the family will feel “just right” with these wonderful PJs, whether they wear them ahead of time or open them on Christmas Day!
Polar Bears w/Scarves Christmas Gift Wrap Paper
One of the basics in getting ready for Christmas is the wrapping paper, and this polar bear wrapping paper makes a great choice!
With bears in a variety of poses and differently-colored scarves and Santa hats, this will be great for wrapping gifts for your family, friends, teahcers, the letter carrier or whoever! And it doesn’t have to be just for Christmas – it can serve well for any winter celebration, such as a Fall semester graduation or a birthday.
The paper is a good quality, and even has a cutting grid on the back in case you’re like me and can’t cut a straight line without help. The wrapping paper comes on a roll and measures 24 inches wide by 16 feet long, which is 32 square feet total.
Wrapping It Up
It might live in frigid temperatures, but the polar bear still warms our hearts! Incorporating it into your Christmas decorations, cards and even wrapping paper can help liven up the season. You and your loved ones will definitely love having any of these items in your home!
